We Need Your Help!

Dear IEATA member and friend of the Expressive Arts,

The Board, staff and dedicated volunteers wish you peace, health and a clear path for creative expression in the New Year.

Thank you for your work and support in using the arts for healing and communication in your communities. And, there is much more to be done; we need your help now to do it.

Our 2014 year-end appeal offers you an opportunity to support those who live, work and desire to join IEATA in some of the world’s poorest and most underserved countries. With your donation, your voice, your understanding of the need to bring more members into the IEATA fold, we can reach those waiting to join our network of artists, educators and therapists.

A portion of your donation will go towards Scholarships for Memberships, a program that reduces the cost of dues for those who will benefit most from being an IEATA member.

Thank you in advance for your consideration!

Peace in 2015

FEATURING

"Creating4Change" is the working title of a feature documentary by EMMY Award-winning documentary filmmaker Sophia Kruz that poses the question: What is the role of art in global women's empowerment?

From a graffiti artist in the favelas of Brazil raising awareness about domestic violence, to a choreographer in India using dance to rehabilitate victims of human trafficking, this film will profile women who have found innovative ways to use their art to solve the most pressing problems facing women in their communities. The film will feature artists who are working with leaders in government, philanthropy, technology, public health and education to create positive change.
